Dr R Narasimhan
Dr R Narasimhan, founding chairman of Respiratory Research Foundation of India, has nearly 30 years of experience in respiratory medicine and is deeply committed to providing his patients with individualized attention and quality medical care.
He received medical degree from S.V. Medical College in Tirupati and later went on to successfully complete MD Chest from the same college. Over the course of last 30 years, Dr R Narasimhan has practiced respiratory medicine at various leading hospitals and has emerged as one the prominent respiratory doctors. He is currently working as senior respiratory physician at Apollo hospitals, Chennai. He has conducted valuable research on respiratory medicine and authored publications and presented his research on numerous occasions at various national and international conferences. He has also been is actively involved in academics through his role as professor and HOD at various prestigious medical institutions.

Achievements
- Got the Best Teacher Award from API Chennai Chapter.
- Got the Vocational Excellence Award from the Rotary club of Madras North West for the highest number of diagnostic bronchoscopies in south India. Has so far done more than 10000 diagnostic bronchoscopies, the highest in south India.
- Has been a distinction holder all through the educational career.
- Has won 49 out of the 50 Gold medals that his college offered.
- Is a faculty for many national and international conferences.
